Dr. Rachel Jones

Dr. Rachel Jones

Dr. Jones earned her Associate degree from Harcum College as a licensed veterinary technician. Her transition from the East Coast to the West Coast began in 1989 at the prestigious VCA West Lost Angeles Animal Hospital. Here she worked as a licensed veterinary technician and later became technical supervisor. Dr. Jones’ 12-year technical career transitioned in 1995 when she began her veterinary training in Tuskegee, Alabama, graduating in 1999. Her interests in holistic healing started early on but grew exponentially during a time when she was challenged with her own health problems. A vision issue in one of her eyes left her with an opportunity to better understand life along with many new cutting-edge healing options. By improving her own health, she has since been able to improve the health of her patients by utilizing all she has learned. She opened her first practice in 2004 and is now currently owner and operator of Marina Veterinary Center and Surgical Specialty Hospital. Here she has developed an outstanding reputation for her unique approach to healing and is known for being able to provide a variety of healing options all under one roof. At her practice, she provides access to a board certified veterinary surgeon, traditional practitioners and her own uniquely gifted and spiritual approach to healing through holistic medicine; all of which has gained her a reputation of providing hope for many senior pets with limited options and those with complicated or unresolved cases.
